Hasbro i-Dog Robotic Music Loving Canine - White Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I saw this little guy dancing to the music in a store, and the next thing you know, he had come home with me! idog is a real cutie. Though you could use him as an ipod mono speaker -- and yes, I consider the speaker pretty robust for such a diminutive pooch -- I think he shines the brightest as a palm-sized portable light show for your music. The LED light display on his face is something to see, with a variety of colors and animated patterns that adapt to the music you play, and from time to time idog will wag his head and raise or lower his ears in time to the beat. Throw in the doggy behavior -- he mopes if you leave him alone without music and growls when you turn him off -- and idog is a most amusing desktop companion. I am definitely looking forward to the idog bags, as it would be fun to bring him to a party, and the bags look like they would give his head the support he needs to travel without injury. I also saw a picture of the mini-mutt wearing one of his "chill sets" -- a hat, ear muffs, and sweater to ward off the cold weather -- and it was hilarious to be sure. I use rechargeable AAA batteries in idog and get hours of use on a charge. A great little pal for all the music lovers on your shopping list!

MGA Rescue Pets Brown/White Dog Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Yes, these little pups do a lot of whimpering in the store- but when you get home you can change it to HAPPY. That's because you just adopted this cute little guy. In HAPPY mode it barks, wags the tail and moves its' head. And you can turn it OFF as well. It is cute, yes a bit annoying but most toys are! My daughter loves hers- she has the golden retriever and now wants one of the newborn ones.

Sparky the Fabulous Flip Over Pet Dog Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I purchased this dog for my 2 year old granddaughter and she loves it. This is actually the second she has had, the first taught her that if the dog is trying to flip, and you sit on it, you will not flip along with it. You will break it. Dog #2 is doing much better. I would recommend this product.

(More customer reviews)My 5 year old got this for her birthday. It worked great for the first 10 minutes in the water. After we took it out and dried it off, it never worked again. I am going to take it back and see what the second one does. When I called MGA entertainment, they said to try a different brand of batteries.

Dream Dazzlers So Chic Salon Chair with Smock Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)My sister, who owns a hair salon, bought this for my 5 year old for Christmas, along with the salon & storage cart. Although, on the small scale, my daughter absolutely loves it. It seems sturdy. It is definitely adorable & fun! My daughter had a blast doing everyone's hair today. Don't expect anyone over 75 lbs. to sit in this chair. That would be pushing it. With that said, your little one will certainly enjoy playing "hair salon" with her friends & dolls!! The accessories (sold separately) really compliment this item & with a good imagination, will add hours of fun and entertainment for your little one!

Puppy Tweets Blue Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I waited 5 months for PuppyTweets to come out. The day I received it I set up a Twitter account for my boy and hooked up the antenna to my PC. Got a couple tweets while it was around my dogs neck and thought it was lame but oh well. I took off his collar when it was bed time. Over the night we got 5 or 6 more tweets from him. I thought, ok, maybe it is close to the antenna and it thought he was laying down. Because the thing that goes on his collar was so big, I wasn't going to leave it on him during the day in case he tried to eat it. I unplugged the antenna during the day when it wasn't on his neck. Well, wouldn't you know we got tweets from him...all day...1 an hour. For the next 2 days I left it unplugged and got a tweet once an hour. I have uninstalled the program from my computer, boxed up PuppyTweets and sent it back to Amazon.
Unfortunately, this product is a fake! The motion sensor, time of day and microphone have nothing to do with what it sends out.

FurReal Friends Go Go My Walkin' Pup Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I had purchased this toy for my daughter for Christmas, but after reading (and trusting) the reviews I decided to let her play with it now so I had time to get her something else if this wasn't a good toy. Turns out the reviews are right. My daughter had to repeatedly call the dog, only to have it move two feet, turn its head and bark at her. She got bored with it after twenty minutes. The dog isn't useful as a "stuffed" animal either. It's just a machine with fur over it so it's not something she'd cozy up with. The fur was sliding around on it too. Not a good toy and not worth the price. I returned it the next day and my daughter hasn't asked about it since.

iPlay My First Puppy & Carrier Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)This is a cute toy. It was smaller than I thought it would be. I bought it for my 2 year old niece. She didn't seem to have much interest in it when first opened bc of all of the other holiday stuff going on, but I think this is a toy that she will like to carry around with her. It seems well made.

Fisher-Price Laugh & Learn Learning Puppy Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)My 10.5 month old son and "almost" 2 year old daughter LOVE this puppy!!! It is so cute! And very good sized too! My daughter will sit and play with it - pushing on the ear, hands, feet, stomache and nose... making it talk and sing. My son just likes to dance away while the puppy sings (teehee)! We all have a good time with it!
It says many different things - to many to list here. My daughters favorites are to hear it say (when pushing on the nose), "Achoooo" (sneezing sound), or "You got my nose" (she gets a kick out of that everytime)! She also loves that it 'sings', "The itsy bitsy spider" (her favorite song)!
Terrific buy and lots of fun!!!!!!

Amazing Pets: Skate 'N Tricks Puppy Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I got this for my nephew and took it out of the box to make sure it worked before giving it to him. It does work and it does skate on our hardwood floors as well as the rug without any problems. He does bark and he does lie flat if you are quiet and ignore him for a bit. He does NOT change direction as the Amazon desription stated. He moves forward in whatever direction he is placed in. Once he hits an obstacle he just keeps trying to skate against it. He does not back up or turn around or stop and change direction if you call him. If he is stopped and you call him he will start moving again, but he moves in the direction he is facing, not the direction of your voice. So my kids had a bit of fun with it, but it was short lived as he really doesn't do very much except skate into walls and bark.

This spotted puppy is hoping to glide right into your home -- and your heart. Meet Blade, the Dalmatian doggie who prefers wheels to walking. Already strapped into four bright red inline skates, Blade will respond to you when you call to him. Like most canines (and people), he works best with positive reinforcement and encouraging rewards like belly rubs and head pats. When you do this, he gets more and more excited and does a better job of skating around. If you ignore him for too long, he'll get clumsy and start falling over. But Blade must have taken an obedience class or two, because no matter what direction he's headed in, if you call out to him he will turn and come to you. Who could ask for a more loyal or talented companion? Blade requires four C batteries and two AA batteries, which are not included.

It also has a code to register the toy online and gain access to their website which has games and other activities. Plan Toy Sit N Walk Puppy Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)My toddler loves taking this puppy on our walks. Because the puppy only goes when he goes, it keeps him moving! The only draw back of the product is that it's not very durable when used outside. Our puppy now has some "bald" spots and and he's flat under the chin from being pulled along the ground. But he has a cute wiggle when he's pulled and the ears are awesome!

Follow me Fred by Tiny Love Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)We took a chance and bought this toy without any reviews, therefore knowing nothing about it. It was a good choice! We've only had it for a little over a week, but it is a popular toy with my 7 month old and even my almost 3 year old. My 7 month old loves to play with his crinkly ears! She still doesn't crawl yet, but it is perfect to help her learn. All you have to do is barely pat the dog and it moves forward. I like that it doesn't go too far to encourage the baby to go after it. It makes cute noises and plays cute songs. You can make the dog go straight or in circles by bending the accordion part of his body. You can also set it so it doesn't move. You have the option of muting it too, which is nice if you get tired of the songs and noises. This is a great "chase and crawl" toy to help babies who are learning to crawl and for those who already do crawl!

Parents can set the puppy to walk at different speeds by pressing the paw button on Fred's front leg. FurReal GoGo My Walkin' Pup Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)What a great idea for a kid who wants a dog, but you don't want or can't have one. It walks kinda slow, so as the kid gets older he won't enjoy it as much. the interactivity is a bit unpredictable (like a dog), but you pet the dog's hand and it coos a bit or barks happily. Very fun.
My beef with this product is that it would be a bargain at 30 dollars and probably fairly priced at 40, but [...] is an awful lot for something that does as little as this product. It's way over-priced and that's the reason I give it only 3 stars.
It does come with batteries installed and it's turned on, so it barks when you move the box. That gave me a serious giggle as it sat in the back of my car, barking when I made a turn.
I think a 4 or 5 year girl will like it. I think a boy won't as much, and I think 7 or 8 is probably too old.

Gund Dog Spunky Plush Toy Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I bought two of the of the slightly larger light brown spunky a year ago and my son won't go to sleep without them. He liked them so much that I bought two of the blue ones for my newest arrival. This is the type of stuffed animal that your child will get attached to so you need at least two of them.
From a safety perspective, they are great. The eyes are thread and there are no small pieces to come off for your kid to choke on. The stitching is very durable. They go in the regular washing machine. Mine have been washed at least 2 dozen times each and still look great.
The only small con is that they need a second ride in the dryer.

Puppy Grows And Knows Your Name Poodle Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I purchased this for my Granddaughters 7th birthday. She is a dog nut but cannot have a live dog in her Condo.
She loves this dog....The first day we programed her to learn both of their names. You must have a computer and USB cords to do this. 1st day: the puppy asks to be petted, sings songs and wants to be brushed. 2nd day: the puppy grows and has more sayings, she wants to eat, be scratched and sings another song. 3rd day: the puppy grows, again, and has more sayings. 4th day: the puppy grows to full height, asks to be measured and wants kisses etc. The puppy shrinks down to puppy size and starts all over again.
This was a fun toy for her and she loved the different sayings each day plus the growth. The puppy sings the childs name in songs and asks for kisses, giggles, and wants to be played with. Comes with a bone, brush and a measuring tape. Can be turned off when not being played with.
I'm sure after a few more weeks she will be tired of the toy but it was a great gift. She has "a million toys" and this was something different for her.
