Crayola 64 Ct Washable Markers Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I bought this product for myself and my son. We color together a lot in some very detailed books. I was noticing him having trouble with longer and thicker markers, but I also know that he hates using crayons. After getting these he sat and colored several pages in our book without trouble or complaint. The durablity, color selection, and "washable" feature make this product all the more worth buying. Our order arrived quickly, and with no problems even though we are overseas right now. I would recommend these to any parent who has a little one that wants to use markers instead of crayons or is just getting used to using ink.

Melissa & Doug Friendship Stamp Set Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)We gave this to our 3-year-old for Christmas. She LOVES it. She spends a lot of time stamping paper and then coloring in the pictures she makes. It's made of wood and very sturdy. It also comes with colored pencils and two stamp pads of different colors, which is nice. We are very pleased with this stamp set.

Alex Toys Farm Finger Crayons, Alex Little Hands Art Series Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I love these crayons and so does my 16-month-old! I got these for him a couple of months ago and he LOVES to stack them on top of each other and make a leaning tower. The crayons are very durable and withstand him throwing them on the wood floors. None of them have broken yet and he is very rough with them. You have to press down pretty hard to draw with them, but I gave them a 5 simply for their play value as stackers. He LOVES them!

Melissa & Doug Horse Stable Stamp Set Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)My daughter was absolutely thrilled to receive this stamp set as a gift. She likes the realistic look of the horses and their scenery. I have to say that I also prefer the idea of her creating projects with realistic horses and not "pretty ponies". The stamps work well, though the stamp pad included is a little small. We have many other Melissa and Doug products in our home, and they tend to be very durable. I'm pleased with both the quality and the price!

Crayola 24ct Mini Twistables Crayons Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I bought these on a whim for my 2-1/2 yr old son. We've tried the oversize crayons, the bathtub crayons, washable markers etc before and he's either broken them (really quickly) or they've been too messy. These crayons are perfect for him. They don't break if he presses to hard (or only a little bit breaks off) and they aren't messy like markers. I definitely recommend these for any parent with a toddler or who just wants to make sure they get the most out of a single pack of crayons.

This Little Piggy's House Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I've watched my 2.5 year old nephew play with his little piggy house for the past year or so and he never seems to get tired of it. It's so cute when he invites his friends inside his little house when they come over. They love to look in and out of the window, the roof, and the door.
A nice thing about the house is that the kids can draw and decorate the house as they like - with markers, crayon, stickers, anything that comes to mind! I struggled with rating the "educational value" of the toy because it doesn't sing or have words on it like conventional "educational" toys, but I still gave it a 4 (and thought about giving it a 5) because it really seems to develop imagination in my nephew - which is far more unique than other toys on the market. Your child can learn ABC's from any typical toy or CD, but it takes something different to spark creativity.
The house is more durable than I expected (the carboard is stiff), and assembly is super easy and fun for both my nephew and his parents - sort of like a large puzzle. My nephew seemed to have a real sense of accomplishment after helping to put it together, and he can do it over and over again (and get better at assembling it himself) if you want to put it away when not in use. It's also a nice place to store toys, stuffed animals, etc. when not in use.
I've gotten this item for a few of my friends' children and they all come back with rave reviews. I've seen a couple of other cardboard items for kids to play with - houses, rockets, etc. - but I like this one in particular because it's MADE in the USA (which is very important to me), and 5% of profits go back to feeding hungry kids. Plus it's much more stylish than others on the market.
I hope that the company starts to produce accessories for the house!
