Fisher-Price Interactive Baby Grand Piano Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)My daughter just received this baby grand piano from her grandparents as a baptism present. She is 10 months old and really seems to like it. The piano does so many things and I forsee her having a lot of fun with it and am happy that I suggested it for a present. The reason I'm not giving this 5 stars is that my daughter, who is just learning to stand and cruise, stood up with the piano and she must of put to much weight towards the middle of the piano, while I was reaching for the camera, because the piano tobbled end over end with her following it. The piano started to do the same thing right after that when she tried to stand. She wasn't hurt, more scared then anything, but I would have thought it would be sturdy enough to handle her putting a little weight in the middle of it. I still recommend the piano, but stay within hands reach if your baby can't walk and keep themselves fairly steady on their own.

Melissa & Doug Grand Piano Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Okay, so my 1 year old son was facinated with this piano. But it sounds horrible. I mean Awful. In fact, we were afraid that the sound, which is very and very and VERY off tune, will ruin his musical inclination. I dont mind the chime - but its too off tune. So we packed it up and back it goes.

Fisher-Price Little Superstar Jammin' Band Piano Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)My daughter has had this toy for several months now and she's grown more interested (she was only 6 months when we first gave it to her). It has lights and sounds to keep her entertained, but doesn't have much educational value. You can play with them and say the colors with them, but other than that it's just a fun jam out toy; not all toys have to teach them something. Kid's need to have fun too and this toy accomplishes that.

Schoenhut 30 Key Fancy Baby Grand with Bench Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)We bought this piano as a present for our daughter for Christmas - it was going to be the big Santa gift. The first one arrived incorrect, with parts missing, in the manufacturer's packaging (made in China). We contacted the seller - JouJou Baby - and they responded right away, and got a replacement shipped out in time to make our Christmas surprise. When we got the corrected one, it worked wonderfully.
My daughter, who just turned one right before Christmas, LOVES this piano! Anytime her daddy starts playing his, she will run over to hers and start playing. Her daddy even comes over to play hers sometimes, and as a pianist, he says it plays pretty well for the toy that it is. The sound is a little different, since the strings are elastic, and it's not perfectly in tune, but this is meant to be a toy, and she thoroughly enjoys it.
We are thrilled with it so far!

Schoenhut 25 Key "My First Piano II" Red Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I ordered the My First Piano II for my son's first birthday. They were out of the one I ordered, and after sending me the wrong one, they immediately corrected it by sending an even nicer one the next day, in time for his birthday. I was so impressed by the customer service at Schoenut...rare these days. My son loves banging on it - the sound is really good for a toy piano, and it's sturdy and attractive. I recommend the one with 25 keys instead of 18, since it will continue to be fun later on when he can actually play something. I'm also glad I ended up with the taller one, because he doesn't want to sit much now and he can play it standing. Later he can use the little bench. I very highly recommend this product!

Schoenhut's bright red or white 25-key tabletop is the perfect choice for a toddler's first piano. Both fun and educational, it is an ideal instrument to use for developing eye-hand coordination and encouraging musical creativity. Chromatically tuned, the lovely chime-like notes are produced by little hammers striking precision-ground, German steel music rods (versus the conventional taut wires used in full-sized models). Schoenhut's patented Learning System, with its play-by-color teaching method, makes playing simple and fun. A removable color strip fits behind the keys to guide small fingers from chord to chord. The chart also works on adult keyboards, since keys on Schoenhut toy pianos are of corresponding width. This teaches children proper "finger stretch" from the very beginning. The accompanying Songbook contains a collection of familiar tunes. This Learning System has been specially designed to build a child's confidence and develop basic playing skills. Measures 9.9"L x 15.8"W x 11.9"H.

Schoenhut 25 Key Elite Spinet with Bench Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)My 18 month old absolutely adores this piano! This piano is very well-made, very sturdy, does not topple over, stood up to my son's abuse (he is at the age that he thinks everything is a drum!). It compliments our living room deco, even though our living room is white. The little bench is an asset, it makes him want to sit down and play the piano longer. BEST THING ABOUT THIS PIANO - BATTERY FREE! So though it's pricey to buy, you save on those expensive batteries replacement. It has very soothing (yeah, even with my son banging away), subtle keys, unlike some of those very annoying toys these days. It's one of his dad's favorite toy too!

Schylling Baby Grand Piano - Black Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Got this piano for my 15 month old a few weeks ago. I have more fun learning piano on it right now than he does but he does give the keys a good banging a couple times per day. The finish on the piano is very nice and assembly was painless. The sound is a bit tinny and its pretty clear that there is a xylophone-type mechanism inside rather than strings and hammers, but for the young ones who are not being groomed for the symphony, its fine. This one should be able to last a few years until my little boy improves to the point of needing something that sounds a bit more realistic. Three stars overall just because the sound doesn't quite match the otherwise good looks of the piano.
