(More customer reviews)We got this as a first puzzle for our 7 month old. She is, as the age recommendations suggest, still a little young for it, but I think will like it as she gets a bit older. The mirror in the middle is a particularly fun feature. Sadly, the item arrived with a crack in the wood of the purple piece, which I hope will not grow to split entirely. The mirror was also detached from the red center piece (looked like the glue failed) and it did have some sharp edges. We will probably keep the item anyway, as we like the design and can glue the mirror back on, but were a bit disappointed with the construction. We have other Educo products that seem more sturdy and are fans of this brand in general.
