(More customer reviews)I bought the Melissa & Doug Deluxe Ice Cream Parlor Set but I wished it came with more ice cream scoops. Then I saw this set and thought it would be a great way to get more ice cream scoops without having to buy a second set of the same thing. As far as I know you can't buy any of the Ice Cream Parlor Set pieces separately. It turned out to be even more fun than the Ice Cream Parlor Set!! My 2.5 year old son loves to cut the fruit and the toppings are a fun addition as well. I wasn't sure if this set would work with the Ice Cream Parlor Set but I'm happy to report that it does! I do have 3 minor complaints. Even with these minor flaws I would purchase this again.
1. I don't like that the knife is made of plywood and the outer layer of wood is coming off. This would be better if it were plastic like the scooper.
2. The toppings are not magnetic and slide off easily.
3. The box that this comes in is cardboard. The Ice Cream Parlor Set comes in a really nice wooden box.
