Leapfrog Tag National Geographic Kids: Activity Cards - Land Animals Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Our five year old and three year old have gotten a lot of mileage out of the tag since we bought it. The books seem to get a little old after awhile but the animal cards have kept them rolling. One of the best features to the cards are the animal sounds. They love to tap the card with the monkeys... over and over and over again. Not recommended for parents that find repetitive sounds annoying. For me it's great, anything that keeps them occupied for 15 minutes is good in my book.

(More customer reviews)My 3.5 year old daughter loves going through this set of well-designed, informative cards with her Tag reading pen, and then later she'll repeat to me something she's learned, like, "Hey Mom, did you know that sea turtles lay their eggs at night to protect them from predators?" The cards seem quite durable -- made of heavyweight paper and are linked at the top so they can't get lost. Each bird or sea creature has two cards with nice photographs and probably three or four pieces of information to be gleaned by the child. And there are a ton of interesting ones -- probably 40 animals or so? She has actually taught me a few things that she has learned from these cards! A nice complement to the fictional books in the rest of the line...
