Sanrio Hello Kitty SMS Text Messengers - Pink & Grey Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)This is a really great toy, the kids just love playing with it for hours, both outside and indoors. They can text like adults; these text messengers work in a closer range than real cell phones. My granddaughter and her friends think it is their favorite toy. It was a good choice as a gift for her.

Fisher-Price Elmo's World Talking Cell Phone Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)This is so easy anyone can do it. My husband travels quite a bit, and since I can't stand to have things just laying around broken, and I for sure won't throw anything away, I've been left to figure out how to fix things on my own. If I can do it so can you! I decided to figure out what was up with this Elmo phone once and for all. After taking it apart I found that there are two metal tabs inside the slit( in the back of the phone where you had to remove the plastic tab when you took it out of the box) and when they touch the volume of the phone is lowered. When they don't touch the phone goes back to the regular audible volume. To FIX IT : The easy option A, which doesn't require you to take anything apart, is to take the piece of plastic from the original box (the one that you had to pull out in the first place to lower the volume "for the children's safety" and to cut it so that it fits into the slit without sticking out so the kids can't pull on it. Option B is to remove 6 screws (1.upper left hand corner under antenna, 2. upper right hand corner next to slit, 3.screw holding the battery cover on, remove batteries you will find 4 and 5 there. Set all of these aside. Look on the inside of the back cover where the slit comes through You'll two small pieces of metal, the top piece screwed on with a white wire coming out. This is the last screw to be removed and #6. Remove and discard. Clip the white wire where it it saudered/ connected and you can throw away the little metal piece. It is NOT needed for the toy to operate in anyway, it was only used to lower the volume. Once you've done this you can replace the lid put the screws and batteries back in and you'll have a working and AUDIBLE Elmo Phone!!

Little Tikes Cell Phone and Key Chain Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)We bought this for our daughter when she was a little less than a year. Both toys have held up after drops, falls, throws and are still running on the same battery (she's now 26 months). I LOVE Amazon however, this price is ridiculous. Shop around, we got this for less than half of the price listed here.

Vtech - Disney Princess - Dial 'N' Learn Telephone Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Our daughter got this phone as a gift and was really excited to open it. She wanted to speak with the princesses. Unfortunately, when you dial the princess' numbers you only reach one of the "favorite" songs. The songs do not even correspond to the movies or CDs. It does have some fun learning activities where you find the princess' partners or play some musical tones, but all in all we thought it was disappointing. Additionally, some of the tasks were a little beyond our 4 y.o. capabilities, requiring her to read the "phone book" to dial the correct number.

LITTLE TIKES DISCOVER SOUNDS CELL PHONE Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)We just got this cell phone (rated for 6+ months) for our 11 month old son about a week ago. It has been dropped from heights, thrown across the room, beaten onto the cement outside, and drooled on - a lot. And I can't find a scratch on it. It's very durable.
Sound:
This toy is much quieter than many other child toys we have. This is a huge thing for us since some toys just seem SO loud. It has a child saying the numbers when the numbers are pressed and has three set sounds for each of the green and red phone buttons.
What my child thinks:
I know this is still his newest toy but my son seems to like it very much. He gets ahold of my cell phone about half as much since we got this one. He likes dragging it around with him so that must be a five star infant rating!
