As Seen on TV Fushigi Magic Gravity Ball Review

As Seen on TV Fushigi Magic Gravity Ball
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
The only 'problem' with the Fushigi ball is that they're effectively marketing a skill- which requires tons of practice- by telling the public that the result is yielded by the product itself.
It's called 'contact juggling' and it's a really cool thing to watch. There's a gal on Youtube who takes an orange and achieves the very same illusion you see done on Fushigi ball commercials.
Maybe it's a bit mean-spirited of me, but I do kind of snicker at the enormous number of people who think that the Fushigi company has overcome the principles of gravity and put it into some magic ball. This thing is a classic, classic example of 'fools and their money..." Anyone who bought this thing truly believing that it somehow magically floated in the air is a colossal sucker; life for them will be a lot more disappointing than their Fushigi letdown.
I suppose it's a fine contact juggling ball, but just understand that you can do the same thing with any solid sphere and when you buy the Fushigi ball, if you're expecting the results to be as-seen-on-tv, you'd better be prepared to invest an awful lot of time and practice in learning the art itself. There is nothing magic about the Fushigi ball and you will not be able to 'make it float' just by buying one.

Fushigi is a brand new, dynamically designed ball used in the mysterious art of contact juggling. With Fushigi the operator exploits the reflective properties of a sphere through specific hand and body isolations and movements that are designed to give the appearance that the Fushigi sphere is moving on its own or even floating. Using Fushigi is an incredible, therapeutic form of relaxation. The art of maneuvering a reflective sphere through mind and body isolation and manipulation creates the illusion that the sphere may be defying the laws of gravity, as if the sphere is moving on its own.

Moose Mountain 100 Balls with Duffel Bag Review

I decided to get my son a ball pit and after reading all the reviews I decided just to buy a swimming pool and fill it up with balls. So to make sure my son liked it I just bought one bag of balls. He LOVES it! The balls are big, bright, and soft, although very durable. My son has rolled on them, laid on them, jumped on them and none are dented. I am going to be getting another bag this week.

Intex Jump O Lene Transparent Ring Bounce Review

Intex Jump O Lene Transparent Ring Bounce
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
We purchased the 2009 version in November. After reading reviews we knew these were defective sometimes with leaky seams. We live in a tiny apartment in a snowy location so I really wanted this to work for my kids (ages 1 & 3) for some aerobic playtime when stuck indoors. With that in mind I was determined to keep sending back defective ones until I finally hit upon one with well sealed seams. I purchased my first one from Walmart because it would be easy to facilitate free returns as there is a store in my town. I bought an electric pump from Amazon for about twenty-five dollars that works well to inflate it.
The first bouncer I had did not have an obvious leak, but I did have to fill the wall chamber every day. There are 3 chambers and they need to be inflated in order (floor, outside bumper ring, walls). I wasn't happy having to fill it every day so I took it back to Walmart and ordered another. The second one has been awesome, not needing more air for a month at a time. I have been sure to press the valve covers flat over the plug hole (not necessarily pushing the plug into its recessed position, as you would with a beach ball, [with the exception of the floor chamber for safety reasons] as it is a bit of a challenge to pull the plug back out for inflating).
There was a strong smell of vinyl with each one that needed about 2 weeks to totally go away, obviously outgassing. If you have a way to set it outside for a few hours each day or leave a window open I think that would speed up the process. Now there is no smell at all.
I like the door. My one year old can climb in and out easily by himself. My three year old likes to launch himself in. There is a limit of two kids and I think a combined weight limit of 120 lbs. The clear sides make supervision easier.
I have some super squishy foam balls that we include inside, but we have not made it a true "ball pit" at this time. I do not allow any toys other than the foam balls in the bouncer. We also keep everything else out (snacks, drinks, shoes, slippers, etc.) so we reduce the risk of anything that can puncture it.
My boys also like to partially invert the bouncer on a big bean bag chair and pretend it's a den. They bring their animals to "hibernate" in there (much like we feel on snowy winter days!) They even have fun with it when we've leaned it up against a wall when not in use by crawling through the tunnel it makes when up on it's side.
Though my place is VERY tiny, we use this every day and leave it inflated. It takes at least 10 minutes to inflate or deflate it, not time I want to be spending daily so we just find ways to move it out of the way to access more play space when they're not bouncing.
This has been a good investment for thirty-eight dollars for some energy releasing playtime indoors. I do recommend this product if you have the patience to find one with good seams and let the smell dissipate.

Playhut Lil Explorers Carnival Ball Zone Pit Play Tent with Twist and Fold Instant Set Up Technology Plus 3 Fun Games (Monkey Toss Game, Duck Pitching Game and Elephant Dart Game) and 50 Balls with Carry Case

I purchased this for my son for his second Christmas. While a little young, I already knew going into this what I was going to get. He tends to lean on the walls, knocking over the piece, and the air mattress included only aids this. Remove the air mattress beneath, and the structure becomes a bit more stable. Generally, he seems to like it, tossing the balls when he isn't trying to share them with Mommy. There is even a hanging "obstacle course" to toss balls through and drop down that he really enjoys. Setup wasn't too bad. Only 15 minutes, and most of that was reading over the relatively simple instructions and pumping the air mattress which we ended up deflating. My only real disappointment is the size of the balls. The picture makes 50 balls look like a good deal. Then again, he doesn't know what a real ball pit looks like, and it saves me the headache of chasing some 500+ balls across the living room when he shoves them through the ducky game. Overall, the good outweighs the mediocre. A definite recommendation for younger kids. Just be prepared to buy more balls to fill out the fun for slightly older kids.

This is a really nice ball. There's not much else to say. My kid loves it and so do I. Very vibrant colors. I bought this one and the red one with starfish. The red one showed up a little deflated so I'll have to figure out how to add air to it......if anyone knows if this is possible please let me know!

Busy Basics Busy Ball Choo-Choo Review

Busy Basics Busy Ball Choo-Choo
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
My 10-month-old son LOVES this toy. I almost didn't buy it because there's no volume control, but I'm so glad I did. It also helped him learn to crawl because he was so motivated to chase after it. It's very easy for him to get the train to go -- the button on top is easy for a baby to push.
He loves grabbing the balls as they spin around inside the train and then putting them back in again. The different settings are good (spinning balls vs. balls falling out the back; stationary vs. moving train), and you can also turn the center wheel on the underside of the toy to make the train go in a circle instead of a straight line. The train will also move on carpet if the pile isn't too thick.
Only downsides are that there's no volume control--it's pretty loud--and the tunes get stuck in your head.

This ball-dropping choo choo gives little ones a toy with lots of ways to play as they grow. Busy Ball Choo Choo comes with three balls and instructions. Requires 3 "C" batteries, not included. Measures approximately 8" long.

Magnet Balls Original Edition - Magnetic Earth Magnet Puzzle in Collector's Tin Review

Magnet Balls Original Edition - Magnetic Earth Magnet Puzzle in Collector's Tin
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I have had the BuckyBalls brand magnets for a while. They're a lot of fun and creative, but they're pricey for a little office toy. I saw these Magnet Balls and decided to give them a shot because they're nearly half the price of BuckyBalls. Having read some reviews for other BuckyBalls competitors I was concerned that these would be differently sized than BuckyBalls. Well these are exactly the same as BuckyBalls as far as appearance goes. The only difference so far is that they don't seem as powerful as buckyballs. It's very subtle, but obvious after having played with BuckyBalls for so long. They also seem a tiny bit lighter in weight. Perhaps that's why they're cheaper. There may be less magnetic material in each ball.
Despite them not being quite as great as buckyballs, they're still pretty great. If you've never played with BuckyBalls, you probably wouldn't know the difference. You can make all the same shapes, and it's a decent value.

Fisher Price Roll-a-Rounds Swirlin Surprise Gumballs Review

Fisher Price Roll-a-Rounds Swirlin Surprise Gumballs
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I got this for my seven-month old and he immediately loved it. It took him no time to learn how to press the blue handle down and get one of the peek-a-rounds gumballs to come out. The top only has room for four or five of the peek-a-rounds (it comes with four: teddy bear, candy, lollipop and ring), so I had to stand by and continuously put more on the top as he pressed the handle. Whenever the handle is pressed, the gumball machine plays a short tune. It also has a switch to turn the songs off or control the volume. There is a yellow turn handle at the front that makes a clicking noise when turned. My son really likes that too. One reviewer said this handle was hollow and dangerous. Mine is not hollow, so perhaps it was changed (for the better!). One thing I don't like about this toy is that it doesn't have a very solid base; my son easily, and frequently tips it over. That doesn't seem to detract from his fun though.

I like this toy a lot-it's well made, cute, and you can pound the pegs one way, then turn it over and pound them back. I saw another negative review of this toy and don't agree at all, the pegs fit tightly in the base and there is plenty of resistance.

Plan Toy Hammer Balls Review

Plan Toy Hammer Balls
Average Reviews:

I love this toy. When my 18 months got it she played with it for an hour every day. It is such a wonderful quality. The holes have rubber trimmings inside that hold the balls from falling through right away when placed onto the holes. You can even push them down with your fingers if you wish not to have a hammer around - in my case with a newborn in the house just to be on the safe side!
My daughter loved it without the hammer as well. She was fascinated with what happens to the balls when she pushed them down. They always end up on one side of the toy.

Playhut Magic Balls 100 Pack Review

Playhut Magic Balls 100 Pack
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
These balls are awesome! I put them in a small inflatable pool and my 2-year-old son and his friends have blast with them. The only drawback is that although 100 seems like a big number the balls only covered the bottom of the pool which I thought would be more than that. But the kids do not mind at all and are having so much fun with it. They throw the balls, jump into the pool, fall on the balls and so far (1 month) no dents or damage to the balls. I recommend buying these.

Mega Playland Review

Mega Playland
Average Reviews:

This is the most played with toy in our house. The tunnels and cubes give it limitless possibilities. The ball pit is the biggest hit with the kids and with us, also. The "door" to the ball pit zips shut to keep them all in. As with most items that have ball pit balls, there are not enough included but we added a box of 100 balls and it was perfect for the kids. We have children ranging in ages from 10 months to 10 years and they all play with this toy. The older kids enjoy shooting hoops with the balls and chasing the younger ones through the tunnels. The younger children seem to enjoy the ball pit and tunnels the best. Whenever anyone comes over to our house, this is the first toy they go to in the playroom! The best thing about it, though, is that we can easily pop it down for when we need to move it. We recently painted the playroom and it was the easiest thing to move in there. We have had other playhuts in the past and they all last a long time and through many children. Much better than plastic or inflatable models. Well worth the money for the use you will get from it.
