(More customer reviews)My daughter had this costume for Halloween this year. She was just a week over 16 months and 23 lbs. The costume fit her very nicely and I got a lot of compliments on it before it fell apart. The black ribbon on the front started to fray almost immediately. As she wore it, one of the seams under the armpits completely opened up. It got sticky from the candy she was handling so I washed it. What a mistake! The white blouse came apart from the red waistband in 4 places and the fabric itself started to unravel. All I can say is that the manufacturer was trying so desperately to save on fabric that they didn't even leave enough room at the seams for it to stay together. I loved the look of the costume for its one purpose, but was really disappointed in the quality. My daugher may not have worn it again, but now I can't even use it for a costume swap or to give it to another little girl to wear. It's such a mess I can't even donate it.
