(More customer reviews)The manufacturer stated this toy was appropriate for 3+ years of age, so I bought it for my 3 year old. It holds up to the cuteness and durability that we all know and love in the Melissa and Doug name. However, the surface area for catching is not very large. I have a difficult time catching the ball with it, you can imagine a 3 year old's frustration! Definitely for a little older child!!
