It says it holds 20 pets, but I have been able to get either more than 20 pets inside or else 20 pets with a few small accessories. It has alot of good room in it. It also looks like a little house and the inside is decorated like rooms of a home. It's light in weight and easy to carry for fun away from home. And great for storage if you have alot of pets! I recommend it very highly. In fact, I have about 10 of these now! Oh, yes, and the lamb and iguana that come with it are adorable!
