(More customer reviews)I would love to have a set of classic large unit blocks, but alas, apartment living doesn't allow for that. These blocks are not large, but they're the right size to build structures for matchbox-sized vehicles, wooden trains and Little People figures, so they work fine for my 2.5yo son. I like the colors-- they have a modern feel, and the blue and red allow for the police station and fire house obsessions to be realized. I like that there are natural wood blocks as well-- there is something very satisfying about the feel of smooth natural wood. I'm thinking of buying a second set when he's a bit older and designing more complex structures. Classic, lasting toy, good price, highly recommended.
