Vtech Licensed Learning Mousekadoer Laptop Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I bought this toy for my daughter's 2nd birthday. I knew she would be a little young for it but decided anyway, thinking it would be a good way for her to have a comoputer, like mommy and also it would help with her ABC's and numbers. I was right on both. Although she really is too young to play the games by herself, she can work the music section. The other nice thing is that when you push a letter or number button, it says that letter/number, no matter what game or section is on. She does enjoy her computer and it does hold her attention for a while. As far as durability, it seems pretty good but I'm pretty careful to keep it up unless we're playing with it, just to make sure. I would overall recommend this for a 3 year or older, as the product also advises but am not sorry I got it for her now.

Calico Critters Dalmatian Dog Family Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)My daughter is 10 and loves all of her calico critters. She plays with them for hours, day after day, year after year. She plays house with them, feeds them, has them go to school and the playground. Great for imagination and more fun than a video screen.

I Can Do That Games Curious George - Discovery Beach Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I very much enjoyed playing this game with my 4-year-old son. The fact that all of the small pieces remain inside the game box is quite helpful. My son was very excited to find the different items, but when he or I had no luck, the "wave" came in handy to shake things up a bit (literally). I think that the theme of looking for treasures works perfectly with the spirit of Curious George, and that kids understand immediately that the game is one that George, himself, would enjoy.
My only criticism is that my own son found it difficult not to remove all of the covers to the windows, so it was a struggle to keep the game moving. Could just be my kid, but, once his curiosity was peeked, it was difficult to reign it in. I'm not sure how the creators of the game could alter this detail; maybe by hinging the covers so that, if kids insist on peeking, the pieces don't get lost?
