Yet from the first day on that their Uncle presented them with the Hopscotch playmat, they routinely play the fun game over and over again. When they're done they place it inside the vynil bag, it came in. Good price,Very practicle, Great educational value, Clear instructions, Machine washable and best of all our kids love it! (More customer reviews)We really like the kitchen--it is made well, easy to assemble, and super cute. It has the phone, which our kids totally loves. HOWEVER...it is tiny. My daughter got this on her third birthday, and she is already taller than the refrigerator (and she's not especially tall). It's a micro kitchen, so we're a little disappointed. We were hoping this was a toy that would go the distance, but I can't see a five year old playing in a dwarfed little kitchen. If they made this 30% bigger it would be great, especially since then all the toys made to go with play kitchens (like Melissa and Doug cookie sheets that don't fit in our tiny oven) would fit.

Rectangular Street Rug Review

(More customer reviews)I bought this to decorate the bedroom of my son but it ended up in our leaving room as a play rug... My son loves the bright colors, the texture (really soft)and moving his cars on it. It was really a good buy.
I would recommend to buy My Travel Town by Early Years as the cars in it are the perfect size for the rug "streets and parking space".

LEGO Ultimate House Building Set Review

(More customer reviews)My almost 5 year old son got this as his first Lego set. It's a great start. Lots of bricks of many colors and sizes. It has plenty of pieces for 2-3 kids to play together at the same time. It includes an idea book with some easy to follow pictures, so he was building right away.
I did have to supplement this set, as I watched my kids and noticed what pieces they really needed to play the way they want. This is the "Ultimate House Building Set", but my son really wants to make cars, trains, helicopters, and boats. He also really likes to have "lego guys" to play in his creations. So I added on to this set with:
* Large green baseplate - no baseplate in this set
* More wheels/axels - this set includes 4 wheels, only enough for one vehicle
* Other vehicle parts (windshields, seats, steering wheels, etc)
* Lego people - no people in this set
The baseplates are available at your big toy store. The other misc pieces are readily availble at online auction sites.
This set comes in a nice durable tote box. The box is much bigger than necessary to hold the included pieces. But that's a good thing, because you can easily add whatever other lego's you have and it can store small works-in-progress.
