(More customer reviews)We bought this, as well as some additional road & "plan city" items to add to our kid's Brio train setup. The whole line seems high quality & it was a big hit w/ the boys. They like their trains, but they love their cars & trucks too!
Plan city makes some nice little wooden vehicles, but this roadway set works just as well with Thomas, Brio, and even hotwheels, matchbox, etc cars.
The fact that it integrates so well with Brio, Thomas etc is great (even comes with a "crossing" road / track part!... although trying to work this into a train table that's already "full" can be pretty challenging! We're at the point where we have to "rotate" certain accessories in & out (which is good... keeps the toy fresh... and is fun for Dad to try to come up with new layouts... that actually fit on the table!).
Only downside... if you expand this set w/ additional road packs, you might need a male/male &/or female/female section... which they don't seem to sell. I'm actually making one of each by cutting two pieces in half & glueing the two male ends together & the two female ends together.

Little Tikes Fold 'N Store Picnic Table Review

(More customer reviews)I can add one thing to these reviews. If you are buying this table because it "folds" think again. The only way to fold the table, is to remove 4 wing-nuts from the table, and a plastic piece per-nut, collapse the table, then tighten the wing-nuts, plastic piece. This is not simple at all! This will likely take you 5-10 minutes to do.
I also agree with the other reviews about how the seats sag in the middle. They are not supported well, and while I don't think they'll ever break, they do bounce a lot.

Avantages:
*This exceptional little picnic table is perfect a child.
*It folds and stores so Moms and Dads can actually put their house in order for company.
*It fits into the trunk of my Nissan Sentra (1997 version), and is not heavy to lift.
*It is stable because the weight is distributed.
*It can be set up in a park so that your little munchkins can draw, color, or paint.
*It is small enough to be completely covered by a piece of butcher paper -- and the kids really love coloring everywhere on that!
*Since the unit is one piece, you don't have to bother with chairs that take up space and are easily dragged from one place to another by a toddler who wants to climb up everywhere.
*As far as size -- it takes very little space even when left in the opened position. Mine is in the dining room; a fairly small area; and there is still have room for company.
*Children are drawn to "just my size" toys.
Drawbacks:
*After many crayon marks the top is marked permanently.
*This "feature" create an intrinsic value though. Nothing compares to a sentimental memory when "my child colored there. "
*My hands are tender and weak, so I had a very hard time folding and unfolding the table. There are small notches on the bottom of the table that must be locked into place to keep it steady and safe. I always find help from someone who is stronger to put the plastic locks in place.
5 stars -- children love their own table.
5 stars -- it is a safe place to help expand a child's imagination and creativity.
5 stars -- the design makes the plastic table solid and it will last through many kids.
5 more stars -- portable convenience.
This single unit picnic table serves many purposes, and I would not be without it. It is a bargain at any price.

(More customer reviews)We bought the extra chairs to accompany the table and chair set from the same manufacturer. Our 2 year old loves her table and chairs. They're very sturdy, even hold up to my own weight. The painted farm animals are adorable and clean easily. One suggestion, use rubber grips so chairs don't slide out from little bottoms if you don't have carpet. Great product. Worth the extra money over a simpler set.

(More customer reviews)As the price indicates, this isn't a high-quality table. But, it serves its purpose. We preferred to spend more money on a nice train set, and save some cash by getting a lower-end table. The pros are that it is very roomy and has a storage drawer which accommodates our 130-piece set. The cons are that it is already showing several scuff marks on the white paint, and it's only a month old. It was extremely easy to assemble, and took about 30-45 minutes. Note that it is quite low to the ground. Our two-year-old has to be on his knees to play with it. So, if you're looking for a table that your child can stand at, this one's not for you.

(More customer reviews)This is a wonderful well crafted table and 2 chairs set. It has 5 farm animals painted on the table and one each on the chair seat. My kid (2 yrs old) loves the animals. The set is very easy to assemble. It is very sturdy and comfortable furniture and at the same time not too heavy to move. Its even comfortable for adults to sit on the chairs. My little one uses the table and chair practically for everything from drawing, to crafts, to having meals. While purchasing, I was hoping that they had different colors available as I am not too fond of green. But when I saw the set, I was happy with the colors used. Its uses neutral colors so it can be a good choice for any gender kid. When we got it delivered, the box was torn on one side but hopefully no damage was done to the contents of the box.
