(More customer reviews)This is so cool! I have never seen anything like this. The girls move from room to room and you interact with them. The 6 little rooms are decorated with tons of tiny dollhouse furnishings. It has games and all kinds of cool stuff. It even connects to your i-Pod!! The little figures are so cute - comes with one, and you can buy more. My daughter had to beg my wife to let her play with it. With all the junk out there, it's great to see such a well made toy again.

Pixel Chix DollHouse #1 Review

(More customer reviews)My daughter got the Mattel Pixel Chix toy last night for her 7th birthday and she *loves* it. It's a bit expensive at $30 for a smallish toy, but it makes up for it in coolness. It is more like a virtual friend than a virtual pet, but works the same way - you feed her, dress her and play games with her, getting access to more items and games the more you play. But Pixel Chix is visually way better than the typical Tamagotchi thanks to its pseudo 3D look. Let your child check it out in "Try Me" mode at your local toy store and she'll probably get hooked like my daughter did. There are 3 different types of Pixel Chix houses to choose from and, according to the package, you can physically plug them into each other which allows the resident Pixel Chix to visit each other's houses and interact with one another.

Pixel Chix pal is a 2-D girl living in a 3-D world, totally unique, totally fun and totally cool! To interact with your Pixel Chix pal just "push her buttons" literally! Using the input buttons on the fashionable, handheld house, help your Pixel Chix pal decide all kinds of things, like what to do - play guitar or go rollerblading' Where to go tonight - on a date or to a concert' What to wear - a skirt or a bathing suit' What to eat, and even when to go to bed. Your Pixel Chick pal will talk to you and tell you what she wants. She'll tell you if she's happy (or not!) about the choices you make. There are five levels of play. At each new level, accumulate more choices of foods, fashions, games and places to go. The more you play, the more stuff you get, but if you ignore your Pixel Chix pal, the more stuff you lose! Connect two houses together and then the Pixel Chix pals can visit or have a party. Connect them together and they'll each do a coordinated activity like talk on the phone in their respective houses. Requires 4 "AA" batteries (included).
