(More customer reviews)I bought this product at Walmart as a gift for my 7 year old son who has special needs. He loves DVD's but he also loves pushing the buttons and making things happen. I introduced this to him last week before making an 8 hour road trip for the holiday weekend. It was perfect! The buttons are big and he learned what they do very quickly. He's dropped it and tossed it a few times already. The worse thing that has happened is that the DVD came dislodged. The thing looks like we've had it for a long time already because he is very rough with toys, but it has held up wonderfully! I'm thrilled and highly recommend it to anyone who's child likes to be in control of his dvd player.
Two quick things that I don't like for my situation, I wish the door could lock so he couldn't get it open. I am using a small piece of tape to keep him from getting it opened and from scratching the dvds. And it takes a little longer for the dvd to start playing. Children (and parents) will have to learn a little patience. Otherwise, AWESOME!

Fisher-Price Kid-Tough Video Camera - Pink Review

(More customer reviews)I bought this camera for my 2.5 yr. old daughter. She enjoys playing with it, but she presses the buttons in rapid succession over and over again. This rapid button pressing sometimes causes the camera to lockup -- the camera's screen will go blank and the camera's speaker will make a clicking sound over and over. The only fix I have found for this issue is to pop the battery compartment's door open and close it again, this resets the camera.
Another downside to the rapid button pressing is that you end up with a ton of "one second" videos. I think a feature to detect rapid button pressing should have been incorporated in the camera to avoid the lockup issues and the "one second" videos.
The quality of the video is what you should expect from a toy. The camera requires a lot of light to take anything other than "shadow" pictures. My daughter uses it mainly indoors, but outdoors is the preferred venue given the light requirements.
The camera comes with a USB cable to interface it with your home PC, but I have yet to try this feature out. It is very rugged and has been dropped, etc. without any problems, so far.
Overall, this is a great toy camera and I would buy it again. I would caution the buyer to shop around for pricing, though. I paid about $30 for mine, but I saw it advertised on the Net for as much as $50 from some of the ripoff sites out there.

Fisherman Costume Toddler Boy Review

(More customer reviews)Bought this for our two year old who is more the size of a three year old. The pants were fine, but the green shirt looked like a 3/4 sleeve muscle shirt. It was extremely small and tight. The hat also was small...it just barely stayed propped on his head. It would be nice if the vest actually opened to make it easier to get on and off---it just pulls on over the head and the material is not giving. Overall, it made our son happy for Halloween and I will be able to use it again this year with our other son. FYI-Fish did come off the pole before we even got out the door to trick-or-treat.
