Little Tikes Cook 'N Learn Birthday Set Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)My 5 yr old got this for her birthday along with some of the other cook n learn sets; she really enjoys playing with them, so does her 2 yr old sister. The pieces are nice heavy plastic would be really hard to break. But the cake part doesn't always hold the frosting, too bad they don't snap on or velcro or something. Same with the candles, works well best if you just set them on a table, not carry them around. Since my daughter is 5, she is upset the candles only went up to 3; so if I could change anything, I would include just plain candles or if numbered, then up to number 5; and maybe include a serving plate for the cake as well.
Overall, I think its a cute set, durable, and fun.

Discovery Cube Little Garden Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I purchased this a few months ago for my son, and while initially he wasn't sure what to do with it, it has become a favorite toy, providing him with reliable entertainment. It's small enough to stow in a large diaper bag or to keep him occupied while in his car seat. It really was a great purchase and he continues to discover each new aspect of the cube over time.

Orchard Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)This game is easy to play. Even our 2-year-old is able to join in. The pieces are cute and durable, with the exception of the baskets, which eventually I'm sure will get crushed by a foot or rear end. (The good news is that the baskets aren't essential to the game and you could easily substitute any other kind of container.) Our 4-year-old is in a "sore loser" stage where losing anything sends her into a crying, screaming fit. But the cooperative nature of this game, where everyone is on the same team, means she deals with losing (to the raven) much better, and we get to model "good sport" losing to her. One great thing about this game is it doesn't last forever. It takes about 10-15 minutes to play. There's only one other drawback: when you roll the die, it has a tendency to make a royal mess of the board. We're teaching our girls to roll the die on the carpet instead of onto the board.

Ripe, crunchy cherries, juicy apples, sweet pears and luscious plums are hanging on the trees. The bold raven knows the fruit is ripe. Therefore the fruits must be harvested quickly before the raven can snitch them. A cooperative game for 2 or more children.

Haba Little Leaf House Fabric Book Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I got this book for my second child. What a great book! It has 2 little finger puppets that come out of the book for play. Each page has a different activity of interest. It's fabric, so it's great for those chewing babies. My 7-month old daughter is playing with the book right now--after wrangling it out of her 3 1/2 year old brother's hands! Even he likes it. Fun for all! Highly recommended--even w/ the high cost.
