Toysmith Kid's Big Tool Set # 2299 Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I brought this set for my 21month old daughter. They are prefect for her. She was trying to use daddy's garden tools, so I wanted a set that she could use. This set is made to be durable and long lasting. The cost of these tools are well worth it. My daughter will help daddy work in the yard with her tools. I love the colors and it has taken the abuse of a toddler and they have lasted. I would purchase these tools again if necessary.

KIDS WATERING CAN KIT Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I chose this product because I thought that the wood and metal construction would hold up to real gardening by a child. I like the cheerful bright colors. The tools and gloves were good -- the hand trowel had a nice point (though not sharp) for digging and the cotton gloves fit little hands. The watering can was another story. The spout was not well connected to the can and due to its low position, it leaked as soon as you put water in it. The child I gave it to will use it as a bath toy, but that was not its intended purpose. The watering can also dented almost as soon as the child started playing with it.

Radio Flyer Kid's Wheelbarrow Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)This wheelbarrow is just like the ones adults use, but sized for 2 to 5 year olds. It is manufactured really well (not at all like the flimsy plastic ones you'll see at your local toystore) and is easy to assemble. Our children have used theirs to haul snow, sand, rocks, sticks, leaves, water, dolls, blocks, and eachother. Watch their self-esteem and self-confidence grow as they really contribute to outdoor chores by hauling their own load in their own wheelbarrow! This toy is durable and will be around long after my children have outgrown it. (Note - in case this is a gift, be careful where you have it shipped to because our wheelbarrows arrived in the original boxes you'd see in the toystore, with big pictures of the wheelbarrow on the side.) We couldn't be happier with this purchase of a quality Radio Flyer product.

John Deere - Wheelbarrow Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)The product seems sturdy, although the picture is very deceiving. The size of this wheelbarrow is much smaller than it seems...not much room to put things in...my son will outgrow very quickly. This should be sized for two year olds at the most. Also, very expensive for what it is. Found much larger one at Lowes after purchasing this one and it was half the price. You pay for the name...Overall, not a lot of bang for the buck!

Schylling Little Farmer Garden Tote with Tools Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)My son truly enjoys gardening and the work that goes into it. We ordered this for him to actually use in the garden. Let's say that items in picture are not actual size. The tools are too small for a 5 year old to use. They are good quality and would stand the abuse, but they are small..in the 4 inch or less range. I would qualify this as a novelty item not a set of useful tools. I would simply buy tools and use the bag, but it wouldn't hold anything larger than the included items. This will become a gift to a 2 year old instead of what it was intended for.
Be forewarned, these are too small for small hands and an adult wouldn't stand a chance of using them.
