Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen Exclusive Action Figure Skywarp Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)This ROTF Skywarp rocks! It is the same body type and vehicle mode as Starsceam,Thundercracker, and Ramjet.I actually have all 4 of these sweet figures and I will say you will be pleased with all of them.I like Skywarp the best because of the detail and color scheme.I think both show up a great deal better than on the other three.Skywarp has the classic G1 purple, black, silver, and some red thrown in.The durability is outstanding as well as the poseability. The transforming level is advanced,so if you have plenty of experience with transformers it is not that difficult. If you are a parent buying for a child of 5-6 or younger you might have to provide some assistance during the transforming process.Skywarp comes with 6 missiles that fit in his hand cannons in robot mode and under the wings in F-22 Raptor mode.Bottom line Skywarp is a well-made,high quality,10 out of 10 figure that all transformer fans should love.I highly recommend Skywarp to all transformer fans out there.Transformers Rule!!!!!!!!!!!!

Transformers Leader Megatron Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Like the ROTF Leader Class Prime, this Megatron is a big improvement over his first movie Leader Class incarnation. The detail is much improved, I like that he turns into something that we have seen Megatron as in past cartoons, and the design in robot mode is much closer to that which is seen in the original G1 cartoon. The tank mode is awesome, almost looking better than robot mode. The transformation is actually not that bad, something that if a little kids wants to they could do. The only problem is maybe needing a little muscle. Having Hugo Weaving's voice is cool. The cannon noise gets a little annoying with every time you turn the gun arm. Overall, a pretty good Megatron.

Transformers Animated Voyager - Shockwave Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)This is an awesome figure. It has four conversion modes (Shockwave robot mode, Shockwave Cybertronian tank mode, Longarm Prime robot mode, and Longarm Prime crane mode). When the toy is in Shockwave's robot mode, he is just as tall as the Transformers Animated Starscream in robot mode. As Longarm Prime, he is as large as the Transformers Animated Lugnut figure in robot mode.
Shockwave in robot mode is awesome. He looks a lot like the character in the tv show. So does Longarm Prime in robot mode. The toy's Cybertronian tank mode is also very much like how it is drawn in the cartoon. I can't say how closely the toy resembles the cartoon in crane mode because the cartoon didn't show too much of him in that mode, (if they did, it was so quick and insignificant I didn't even remember it).
If any of you are wondering what the difference between the blue-gray Shockwave and the purple Shockwave is, other than the color scheme, they're the same toy. Except the purple Shockwave is packaged along with a smaller version of Transformers Animated Ratchet. The purple color scheme follows along with how late in the tv series, the Shockwave character reveals his "true colors" and converts from a blue-gray color scheme to a purple color scheme. So all you parents out there, ask your kid what they want. Purple is the reveal. Blue-gray is for espionage.
Articulation is nice, the figure is fairly posable.
Transformation is pretty simple and straightforward. Things snap into place where they're supposed to. Again, if you're looking for a challenge as far as transforming the toy into the different modes are concerned, this isn't the toy for you. Transformers Blackarachnia was more of a challenge than this one was.
A nice touch is the figure's ability to change from the Autobot insignia to the Decepticon insignia.
As a parent, my only concern about this toy are the hand pieces that has the tendency to easily fall off. Shockwave robot mode's two claws can pull off too easily in mid-transformation if handled "incorrectly". I don't recommend pulling on these parts during transformation. These claws are dangerous when little children who like to put toys in their mouths are around the toy, because of how small they are. Longarm Prime robot mode's hands can come off too, but it's a bit harder to pull these off the toy.
Other than that there are no foreseeable parts that a child may "accidentally" ingest.
Shockwave's robot mode has horns that are made out of soft plastic and so is not a safety issue. Longarm Prime's hook in crane mode is also made of soft plastic as well.
The only negative comment is that the figure's two vehicle modes are boring and uninspiring. However, both robot modes pick up the slack.

Transformers Movie 2 Combiner - Construction Devastator Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I had been hearing a lot of bad things about Devastator when pics of him first got out, about an insane price tag and no robot modes, but he was the one I was looking forward to the most. I figured that I would find him and see for myself how bad he looked and if I didn't like it I wouldn't buy it. So I was at Toys R Us the other day and found the last one on the shelf and Devastator didn't look that bad to me...only the price tag did haha. While he is not as big as I had expected (Rumors where he would be 2ft tall at least, but he's a little over 1ft), its still pretty impressive to look at. When you open the box all the constructicons are already transformed into the limbs but are not connected and also a few parts like Scavengers' scoop and Mixmasters' truck cab, but all are easily connected. As in the movie Devastator is very top heavy and must be places in a hunchback or an on all-fours pose. He has and push button activated Vortex similer to the movie and His head expands a good five inchs or so and you can fit legends and scout class figures in there. The box says that transformation for him is a 4 and really I think hes been the easiest to transform out of all the transformers from ROTF! Pretty much its a turn here and pop these in and move that back motions when turning the Constructicons into vehicle mode. One thing that I really didn't like is Mixmaster won't ever shut up and there is no on-off switch and when he is transformed into a vehicle the slightest bump sends him off. All of them look great in vehicle mode exept High Tower as he is brightly colored compared to the other two yellow Constructicons. Paint details are minor as in they have none compared to the voyager and deluxe class Constructicons but I figure I'll paint him myself. So in all he is a decent figure and his price isn't for everybody but if your a fan of the movie Devastator you'll like it.
Pros:
ITS DEVASTATOR!
Quick tranformation
Vortex gimmick is cool
In Robot mode he is good scale to legends class figures
Cons:
Price tag
Paint job could have been a lot better
Not very articulated
No wrecking balls
Mixmaster could have really used an on-off switch
