Barbie Happy Family Pregnant Midge & Baby Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I don't understand why so many people are saying that Midge is inappropriate for children. Since when is a pregnant woman inappropriate? Pregnancy and childbirth are a beautiful and natural part of life. Everybody gets here the same way so why are so many parents trying to shield their children from it? There are pregnant woman everywhere you go. It is natural for little girls to want to play Mommy and this doll is perfect for that!Midge also shows that a girl can grow up to "just" be a mommy if that's her goal. Just because little girls play with a pregnant doll does not mean they will become teenage mothers. It is a parent's job to teach their children about sex education and morals, not a toy's job. To all those people who find Midge "disgusting" - GET OVER IT!!

Hot Wheels Over the Door Display Case Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I am a mother of 3 boys. My oldest two, ages 2 and 4, have an extensive hot wheels collection. I bought this item to provide them with an attractive, easily accessible storage option for their hot wheels. However, I was very disappointed with the durability and functionality of this product. It will only hold hot wheels cars. It does not hold trucks, vans or any of the more creative hot wheels designs. Most importantly the cloth straps which support it are stitched into the plastic seams on the face of the storage unit. This allows the front to tear easily away from the straps. The item only lasted a month in my home before the stitching was torn from the plastic seams, rendering it useless. It is disappointing that the name of such a durable toy was placed on such a flimsy storage solution. I would only recommend this product for use with much older children.

(More customer reviews)This toy is made of all wood - I don't know what the other reviewer was talking about. It's a nice toy that children of many ages can play with.
