Breyer My Dream Horse Customizing Kit Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Like all breyer customizing kits, they are extremely complicated. Don't be fooled by the instruction booklet and examples that make this look oh-so-easy.The mohair is almost impossible to put on and NEVER try to mix the paints and try to make a new color unless you are experienced and have practiced(you'll end up with a big splattered on paint job). I'm not trying to say that this set is bad in anyway, but that it is very hard and will probably get the most use and best results if an adult or child 12 and up is using it.

Use the paints, brushes, and detailed instruction booklet to give a super start to customizing the unpainted model horse. Then, finish off with both black and white artist-quality mohair for customized mane and tail detailing. You'll have your own one-of-a-kind Breyer horse to cherish forever.

Stable Feed Set Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)The detail on these pieces is wonderful. Very realistic looking and sure to thrill your little horse lover. They are perfect for Traditional sized models and, while they are made by Breyer, they work well with Imaginarium, Hartland, and other brands of the same scale.
The net bag is the most fragile item in the set, but even that holds up fairly well under little hands. While I wouldn't recommend this set for smaller children (some of the pieces are pretty tiny) it's perfect for your horse-crazy gradeschooler. It also makes a nice "accent set" for older horse collectors.

Breyer My Favorite Horse - Chili (Pinto) Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)This breyer is so beutiful and detailed. I was a little disapointed because he is marked traditional scale and he is way smaller than my other traditionals. But He really shows the beauty and style of a morgan horse. Even though he's small I love him a lot.

Breyer 8" Veterinarian Lauren with Vet Kit Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)This Breyer vet is neat! She comes with syringe, medicine tub, thermometer, vet case, and stethoscope. This is educational because it teaches how to care for a horse's health and is fun because kids like dolls. However, the vet doesn't stand even on a hard surface and sometimes the joints get loose. The tiny thermometer and syringe are constantly getting lost.

Melissa & Doug Folding Horse Stable Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)This play barn is exactly what I was looking for for my 4 year old son who is a Horse enthusiast. It is much bigger than I expected, beautiful, and has lots of opening doors and gates. It also comes with a fence that folds up and stores neatly in the barn. This barn is big enough for Breyer horses, and has an a swing out side. It was a great purchase and highly recommended.

Breyer Stablemates Gift Set 4 Piece Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Aargh!
Breyers are collectibles, not toys. They are not durable enough for constant play. Get Schleichs or Safari Limiteds until your kids are older: They're softer plastic, are cheaper, and will hold up better.
I love these, but not as toys.

Breyer Stablebates Red Stable Set Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)My daughter (aged 5 when she received this item, now turning 7) loves the Breyer horses and the Little Red Stable. Unfortunately Breyer is to look at, not play with. The horses do not stand well and several have suffered broken legs. The Stable is made of a very thin, almost brittle, plastic. My daughter is not rough with her toys, and though she enjoys playing with the set, the broken horses and sharp plastic are a put-off. I wouldn't recommend this for enthusiastic play or for portable entertainment.
