National Products 6V Yellow Hummer H2 Battery Operated Ride-on Review

This thing is HORRIBLE! My 1 year old son received one of these yellow H2's from his Grandpa this past Christmas. It took a few minutes, but was fairly easy to put together. Charged the battery for 18 hours. Took my son outside, all he could do was step on the petal, but he loved it. He started riding down the driveway. The first thing I notice is that this H2 had virtually no traction. Even on the driveway it spins the wheels. As far as riding off road at all, even in grass, forget it. So he road about 150 yards and the battery died; I ended up pushing him back.
This thing could barely pull my 1 year old!
So, the truck ends up sitting in my garage until spring. I stored the battery with a full charge (18 hours). Today was the second day we took the H2 out this spring. Again today, I ended up pushing my son, now 2, up the driveway. So after a little bit of searching I found this customer no-service number, 1-877-743-3899. All they told me was my product was out of the 90 day warranty and they couldn't do anything for me, unless I wanted to buy a $30 battery.
No, I'm not going to buy their battery for $30. I'm going to walmart to buy a real power-wheels battery and charger, and I'm going to MAKE it work.
From this point, I will not be buying any products made by 'National Products LTD'
For everyone who will need parts for this, and you will need parts, I found this website...
[...]
Sorry to everyone for sounding so negative about this little H2.
The only good thing I can say about it is that it looks REALLY COOL!

My 3 year old rides it all over the house and is waiting for spring when she can take it outside and my 18 month old is just learning to push and hold the button. All aroung great enjoyment.

Fisher-Price Diego Lil' Quad Review

We gave this to our 2 year old grandson for his birthday in May and he is still grinning. It has amazing power and even goes in the grass. Now he can keep up with his big brothers but the speed is slow enough that he is in control. He even brings it with him to our house when they come to visit and rides all over smiling from ear to ear. I highly recommend it.

Power Wheels Sport Quad Review

My son loves this toy. When we first opened the box from grandma, I was like oh no...this is not a good idea. But it's been very safe - he has never fallen off of it. He drives it all around the living room. We would use it outside but we live in a city without a lot of safe places to ride it. The battery lasts for a long time. We have had this for 8 months and have only had to charge it twice. Kids of all ages seem to love it! Now I have seen some other toddlers who get scared of it, the fact that it is not self-powered. The great thing is that even if your kid is short, like mine, and can't use most ride-ons, this toy doesn't require you to be a particular height. It also has a nice storage area in the front - doesn't hold much but my son enjoyed putting things into it and driving around.

National Products 6V Battery Operated Jr. Quad 4 x 4 Red Review

My son loves adventure, however I was a little disappointed in how slow this bike went. Also, he doesn't know how to work the pedals that great so he's a little scared to ride it now. Since only one wheel is powered, the bike can get stuck easily.
Overall, I would say this is good for very young children, but it will have to be replaced quickly because there's just no fun factor. Think a very slow stroll.
Very easy to put together, seems quality built. I hate that you have to unscrew the seat to get to the battery for charging.

We bought this for our son and he is only 2 yrs old and he is too big for it. He loves the toy but he wont be able to use it more than 6 months at the most. He is 31 lbs and around 32 inches tall. Also the steering wheel is too hard for them to turn. It was very easy to put together.
