(More customer reviews)My 6 yo spends his free time in class playing with pattern blocks so I thought this would be a great gift. When I recieved it I was disappointed to see that it was all plastic (maybe I didn't read the description very well) but the plastic does not look durable at all. The magnetic board is also plactic and doesn't close securely to keep the pieces inside. The magnets on the pieces do not look like they will stay on very long. I'm returning this product and purchasing another. The ordered set comes with more pieces, is foam and has magnets also.
