(More customer reviews)We bought one of these a few years ago from TRU, and our daughter loved it! But then her baby sister came along and now when it comes time to sweep, they fight over the little broom. Taking turns is great, but because they both loved it so much, we ordered another for our youngest for Christmas.
The broom is the perfect height for a preschooler, and a little long for a toddler, but manageable, because it's lightweight. The straw bit is very narrow and stiff at first, but over time widens out a bit. It goes from being a mostly pretend-sweeping-broom to an actual (albeit small) working broom, with time.
The dustpan has a plastic hinge on it which isn't terribly durable, but it's been mostly ignored by both our kids, anyway. The broom, however, is great and very durable. We've had one for well over 3 years now and it's still in great shape.
A note about pricing: Because the price can fluctuate and at times is a bit high, you might want to add this to your cart and wait until the price drops a bit, or go directly to your local TRU retailer and see if they have in stock.
