When I bought it I thought for sure my son would be an okay size for it but after putting it together it was obvious he wouldn't get much use of it. My son is almost 4 and already 43" tall, so he's taller than most kids his age. However, with the manufacturer claiming up to age 7, I think most kids over 4 would be too big for this desk. My son just seems "crammed" when he is sitting there working, plus there isn't a ton of actual work space. Keep this in mind if you are considering this desk.
