(More customer reviews)My (now) 3-year old daughter began asking for a saxophone about two or three months before her birthday, and eager to raise a real-life Lisa Simpson I immediately went to Amazon.com to search for a suitable toy; the "Deluxe Childrens Saxophone" was the first item I found, and I thought it was perfect. My daughter loves the toy; it is durably contstructed, colorful, lightweight, and easy to use; it makes real music (it has an octave range of in-tune notes, you can pick out simple melodies on it) that is neither loud nor annoying. My daughter consistently enjoys playing with it--it's still in her "heavy rotation" of toys nearly a month after her birthday--and I think it is an ideal introduction to the fun and joy of making music. I hope this will motivate her someday to play a real saxophone! HIghest recommendations!!!!
