(More customer reviews)We've had this mountain climber set for a year and a half now and it has done very well outdoors in our super hot southern summers and icy cold winters. My biggest tip is to take in the telescope every time your kids are done playing with it, since condensation and rain fill the telescope with water and can't be used. A $20 replacement comes very slowly from the company and is a hassle to order!
I have had birthday parties of a dozen kids ranging from 3 years to 9 years of age all playing on this, and it's amazing how many kids can play all at once. The only thing I'd point out, though, is that the dark blue climber parts can bend a bit under the weight of a big kid in the peak of summer heat. No one's had their feet pinched, though.
