(More customer reviews)We have owned this item about a year. Like all new things, my 4 yea-old loved this marketplace and played in it everyday. The play money she liked to carry around in her purse and offered to use her "credit card" to purchase things for us when we went out. It was cute, but I do not think the toy actually is educational in nature. She even got a shopping cart and plastic foods (I do not remember where from) to use to play with this thing. That is helpful since this is supposed to be a grocery store type toy. All the items on the package are NOT included- the apron, the pink stool-looking object, the tray of plastic food. You only get the frame and cash register plus play money/credit card. That's it. Luckily you can find play food items at every major retailer for cheap. Now that my daughter is closer to 5 she hardly plays with it at all. Even when she has company, the marketplace just sits there. But...she is still VERY interested in the fake food and shopping cart (again...those are not included in this set.) Ironic, right?
