(More customer reviews)Wow! I ordered our pirate ship on Monday, and it arrived today (Thursday morning). We love Melissa and Doug's wooden toys, and this pirate ship is no exception. My 5-year old loves all things pirate, but we aren't big fans of super-scary or evil pirates, which excludes most of the pirate ships out there. This ship, however, just fit the bill! The wooden ship is SOOO cute, and the 3-pirate crew is even cuter. It seems to be sturdily made, and I had it assembled (no tools required) in under 5 minutes.
All 3 of my children spent the whole afternon playing with it. Melissa and Doug toys are definitely good for the imagination, and I had a lot of pleasure from it, too, as I listened to the shouts of "swab the deck" and "walk the plank" and "batten down the hatches" coming from the upstairs!
