It could have easily been painted by both children at the age of 5 by themselves, or at 4 with supervision. The directions are very simple and easy to read. There is an abundance of paint to finish the product and after they bake they can be used time and time again. My granddaughters have had so much fun having tea parties! I highly recommend this!
