(More customer reviews)I bought this costume because I was having trouble finding a costume to fit my nearly 3 year old. He is taller than the average toddler and it's challenging to find anything to fit him. The description on this item indicated that the costume measures 33" from the shoulder to the ankle. I measured him to make sure it would fit and with shoes on, from floor to shoulder he measured just under 33". Well the costume arrived today and if I pull it down tightly toward the floor while he's wearing it, it maybe measures 31". The way the fabric is and the elastic in the ankle, realistically it's about 30". This was my last option for a lion costume (I've been through 2 other manufacturers previously) so I guess my son will be wearing high waters for Halloween. If your kid doesn't have these height issues, the costume really is quite cute and is thin enough that they can wear street clothes under. I'm just very disappointed that the manufacturer can't be honest about the size of the product.
