(More customer reviews)This costume served its purpose--a Halloween costume--but it wasn't terribly impressive. I wanted a costume that was pretty, NOT goth or sexy-looking (yes, a lot of little girls' costumes are sexy--what are the manufacturers thinking?)and could be worn over warm clothes in our cold climate. This costume fit the bill in those respects.
But, unsurprisingly, the construction was cheap and chintzy looking, and the obi (belt) for this "one size fits most" costume was tight on my slender eight year old, even when she didn't have heavy clothes underneath. I thought it was overpriced for what I received. If I'd had a bit more time I would have paid a few dollars more to buy a pattern and fabric and have a seamstress whip up a similar costume.
