(More customer reviews)Yes, this is difficult to assemble, but when you're done, you don't have a plastic toy sitting in your living room, but something more like a cabinet. I assembled this while 7 months pregnant, primarily by myself. My husband helped with the cabinet doors. It took about 3.5 hours... with my husband helping for the last hour. It would have taken the same amount of time to assemble a full sized cabinet. It looks good, though. My 2 year old has surprisingly not taken to it...she loves the plastic kitchens in all the playrooms she's ever in, but this one hasn't really engaged her yet. I hope she comes around, as I wouldn't want a plastic kitchen in my living area for 4 years.
