(More customer reviews)We bought the fold it and go about seven months ago. I wanted a wagon that folded and there were few options. Most reviews favored this unit. After owning it, I have both positive and negative feedback for anyone who cares to read.
Positive: It folds, has a durable steel frame with a nylon fabric shell. I haven't actually tried it, but it seems like the fabric could be removed and washed. We like the canopy to protect the kids from the sun and, if needed, from the rain. My boys love climbing into it and riding around. I get a lot of interest in the wagon when pulling my kids around. We like the mess pouches on the sides. They work great for holding water bottles, toys or whatever my boys bring back as souvenirs (sticks, rocks, etc.).
Negative: It does not fold small enough for my tastes. When folded, its roughly the size of a large golf bag, and fairly heavy. When the box showed up on my doorstep, I could not believe how big it was. When folded, its far from compact, but better than a wagon that doesn't fold. Once unfolded, the height of the wagon can cause some concern, especially with small kids who may want to climb out while in motion. I didn't know what to think of the wheels in the promo pictures, but they looked like they were rubber, but it was hard to tell. Once I opened the box, I found that they are plastic. This is by far the weakest aspect of the wagon.
Another problem area is the steering. It's unconventional. Unlike other wagons, the handle to pull the wagon offers more maneuvering versatility. Translation, it has greater range of motion but feels sloppy. When pulling the wagon, the handle feels disconnected from the wagon, and it causes the wagon to dart back and forth on the path. Keep in mind that the handle is U shaped. This is awkward when pulling it, and forces me to constantly twist my wrist to keep the wagon moving straight. It may not be a problem for very short trips, but it can wear you out during a longer trip. The bolt that connects the handle knuckle to the wagon eventually became so loose it fell apart. Lucky for us we were only a block away from the house. Once I replaced the bolt with better parts, it worked better, but was still hard to steer.
Would I buy it again; probably, since there are few options and the wagon does what I need it to do. Everything has weaknesses, and this wagon is no different.
